Reliable: Makoto is a serious and diligent person, and tends to gravitate toward positions where she can be counted on. In her every day life she is an honor student, a class senior, and president of student government. While as a thief, she is the chief strategist and combat analyst. She takes the responsibilities all of these roles very seriously. She works hard to address the problems that are presented to her, whether they are listening to student complaints, balancing her *erhem* extracurricular activities with her school life, or simply making sure that her fellow thieves make it out of the heists alive. Regardless, once she has committed herself to the task she will embrace the task dutifully, and do whatever she can to become an expert in whatever that role requires. At times, this can also be unhealthy, as she will neglect things that she has been told is trivial, like dating or enjoying ice cream. Principled: As the daughter of a police officer, sister of an influential public prosecutor, and Student Council President, she measures herself to a high standard. For herself, this means that she wants to do her best, to be dependable, and to make sure she sets as a good example. Yet when allegations came out that one of the teachers at her school ended up assaulting other women, she felt the guilt and responsibility of her inaction. Sheltered: Makoto grew up the younger daughter in an apartment in Tokyo. Her mother died early and she relied on her father for security and safety. She liked making her daddy proud, and threw herself into her studies as she would frequently be left with her older sister. When he died, Makoto's adolescence ended. Her sister had to grow up to take care of them both, and Makoto followed along with her in order to ease her burden. Where she was proud of studying, after the death of her father her studies became her duty. She neglected her social life and removed herself from "frivolous" things. This makes her extremely skilled in school, and a novice at living life. Her inexperience could occasionally make her uncharacteristically naive -- where her determined self would dauntlessly talk down a mob boss one day and completely terrified of riding a Ferris wheel the next. The pain of losing her father also makes the people in her lives especially valuable, making the band of crazy that she gets after less of a team and more of a family.

Nuanced: Ultimately, Makoto is a nuanced person that can sometimes be contradictory. While she is incredibly intelligent, analytical, and driven, she also lacks social knowledge, can be reckless, and frets that she is doing the right thing. She can be distant and standoffish while also desiring to be more open and supportive. She desires justice but embraces her role as a thief. She acts as an adult, but has occasional moments of child-like enthusiasm and excitement. In the truest depth of her heart, Makoto is a genuine and serious woman who has a strong commitment to her friends, her community, and desires above all else to live a part of them and ensure that they don't have to worry about anyone taking their lives away from them.

POWERS/ABILITIES: Makoto is a Phantom Tief, which comes with a certain set of skills. Like all other Phantom Thieves, she has the ability to manifest an outfit that reflects her spirit of rebellion. For her, this is a hard leather jump-suit with spikes and a mask of cast iron, reflecting her unrestrained fury and iron will. In addition, her unique skills are Shadow Calculus and Shadow Factorization. This allows her to glimpse at the special abilities of others and whether or not an attack is completely unaffected against a target.

Her Persona is Anat, which manifests as a motorcycle transformer. Makoto can ride Anat as a motorcycle, and in her human form she can attack with various magical skills. Her general specializations is an all-rounder, providing spells that support others and synergies off of other people. Her spell element is "Nuclear," which can best be described as pure magical energy and deals increased damage if the enemy is on fire, electrocuted, or frozen.
